MIXY, an innovative new App for interracial dating has recently been launched on Google Play and the iTunes App Store. The App enables members to set up profiles and seek dating partners from different cultures and ethnic groups, making it easy for members to chat with like-minded people freely and meet interracial singles with different cultures and lifestyles.

“In a world with more than 7 billion people, it seems naive to think that ‘the one’ or just someone for you is necessarily living in the same city or even country as you,” said Marie, Mixy’s chief executive. “Our response has been to give you the opportunity to connect with people who are living in other parts of the world, people you would never have the chance to meet otherwise.”

Members can set up a dating profile that allows them to set preferences for the kind of people they want to meet. Mixy’s proprietary interracial dating algorithm then makes suggested matches based on profiles. Members can filter response and narrow the range of suggestions. Mixy’s developers built the App because they saw a good market potential and they believe that the world would be better off if people connect and learn from each other.

The App lets members see the profiles of other members and anonymously ‘like’ or ‘pass’ them. When viewing a profile, the user ‘Swipes Right’ to like the potential ‘match’ and ‘Swipes Left’ to pass. If a member ‘likes’ someone, and they also ‘like you back,’ then the members will get matched and be able to chat together. The app also allows members to share updates and personal news.

Mixy wants members to become part of an international community and gain a better insight to a range of cultures, meeting different people with mutual interests from around the world. From pre-launch trials, Mixy already has members from more than 50 different countries such as the US, Canada, the UK, France, Australia, Brazil, South Africa, Germany, Japan, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland and more.
